Sheep Town Theatre Company is delighted to announce that as of January 2007 we will be the new resident theatre company at Skipton’s Mart Theatre. This will involve five shows during 2007 and regular workshops for both adults and children.

Originally from Manchester, Elizabeth’s training was at the Arden School of Theatre where she graduated with a BA Honours degree in Acting Studies. Whilst there her roles included Lady Macduff, Electra in Sartre’s The Flies and Lady Anne in Richard III.
As well as being an actress Elizabeth is prolific writer. She enjoyed sell out shows during her debut in the Edinburgh festival with her one-woman show, Celebration of your Bits. She also appeared and was an integral part in the development and writing process of I love me just the way I am, a Meant-to-Play production which premiered in Edinburgh in 2005.
Recently Elizabeth has been seen on our TV screens in BBC3’s Synchronicity and as Hilary in ITV’s Blue Murder which she appeared alongside Caroline Quentin.
Elizabeth has led workshops in HMP Styal encouraging women to express themselves through creative writing and with TIPP, theatre in prisons and probation, in HMP Buckley Hall and Barton Moss a secure unit for young offenders. She has also taught students aged 14- 19 in Switzerland, developing their English and drama through a series of writing and devising workshops.
