Sheep Town Theatre Company is delighted to announce that as of January 2007 we will be the new resident theatre company at Skipton’s Mart Theatre. This will involve five shows during 2007 and regular workshops for both adults and children.

Kenan’s actor training and experience is diverse. He trained at The Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre in the spring of 1996 and in the summer of 2000 acted in a number of short films as part of a Screen Acting course with the New York Film Academy at Universal Studios, Hollywood. The major part of Kenan’s training came at The Arden School of Theatre (2000-2004) playing roles including Macduff in Macbeth; Aegistheus, in Sartre’s The Flies, and Guy in A Chorus of Disapproval.
Since graduating Kenan has played military leader Miles Standish, The Courtship of Miles Standish; Antonio, The Merchant of Venice; Bailey in Point Blank’s tour of Roses and Morphine, and Geoffrey in the most attended 24/7 play of last year, Cabbages. Screen work since graduating includes the short film, The Door at the Top of the Stair (pictured right).
Kenan is also a stage combat teacher and has an advanced level BADC qualification in this subject and is a founder member of Sheep Town Theatre Company.
